• ABBYY FineReader Engine Visual Components provide graphical user interface similar to the interface of ABBYY FineReader.

• The Visual Components allows you to easily create an application for scanning, viewing and editing images, editing and verifying the recognized text and monitoring document processing.

• The FineReader Engine Visual Components is the library of ActiveX components and auxiliary COM classes. This library allows to view and edit contents of the FRDocument and FRPage objects.

• The 4 main components are:
  • ImageViewer is a component for viewing and editing the image and blocks on the image page.
  • TextEditor component allows to view and edit the recognized text on the document page.
  • TextValidator is a component which allows to verify uncertain characters on the document page.
  • DocumentViewer component allows to view document structure and monitor state of pages in the document.
  • The scanning interface is provided via the ScanManager object.

ABBYY FineReader Engine Visual Components provide several interface languages, but you can localize the Visual Components to any interface language which is currently not supported.
